BROWN SUGAR MACCHIATO - rated: 7/10
PLOT: One day, six boys with different personalities and backgrounds are notified they shared the same father. And on top of that they are entitled to a large inheritance. There is only one catch. They must attend the same school and live in the same house for one year to become loving brothers.
But, the boys not only hate each other, they have to deal with nine mean girls from their class. Will the brothers band together and successfully pass the inheritance test? Or, will falling in love with their classmates pull them farther apart?

THOUGHTS?: This drama was pretty much the breakthrough for me. After this, you could say I went slightly obsessed. The cast is really long (Ao Quan, Wang Zi, Xiao Yu, Ah Wei, Wei Lian, Xiao Jie, Da Ya, Tong Tong, Mei Mei, Xiao Jie, Ya Tou, Xiao Man, Xiao Xun, Apple, Rong Jia, Xiao Ma, Li Quan). I really liked the comedy and romance in this drama. Ah Wei is so cute at the end with the balloons; I almost cried when Mei Mei was dealing with how Xiao Yu liked Xiao Xun [ o_O ]' [psst..its true] ;; Ao Quan and Da Ya would be my favorite couple but Tong Tong and Xiao Ma comes in pretty close. The idea of the plot was executed pretty well except not all parts were interesting enough. I think they could've done better but I still love this show.

PILI MIT [THE CLUE COLLECTOR - rated: 9/10
PLOT: The legend of a team called MIT secretly protecting Sheng Ying School was never public acknowledged but nonetheless spread wildly among the student body. For some reason, the team had disappeared and evil began to rack havoc in the school. The last remaining member of MIT, Teacher Cherry, decided to recruit the badest of all bad students, 007, 187, 747 and Tian Mo Xing, to form a new generation of MIT who would solve the crimes and restore the school back to its former glory.

THOUGHTS?: I can't tell you how many times I had to close my eyes or pause the video for this drama. I'm just one of those people that really hate that part where the good guy is running into a trap but doesn't know it. So alot of pauses in this one. Aaron Yan and GuiGui star in this drama. My favorite character is 747. Yes, yes, the babe magnet. He's hilarious and his character is really interesting. His fear of fish is awesome:) ;; I had a feeling that he liked Miss Cherry when I was watching it. Just a feeling. I'd hate to ~~spoil~~ this but the twist at the end surprised me. I can't tell you how long my mouth dropped open when I saw it. You just don't expect it. Ever. So if you haven't watched, I don't even know how you managed to finish reading this without rushing over to mysoju.com and seeing for yourself. ;]

THE LEGEND OF BROWN SUGAR CHIVALRIES - rated: 7/10
PLOT: The story took place at West Side High School, during a time when the Jianghu was still the goods against the evils. For the two legendary martial art books which is hidden in 4 different schools, both of the groups uses all their power to get it. The ones who gets it will have the power to rule over Jianghu. People from all over the place whether it's male or female gathered together to search for it.

Amongst the students of West Side, Linghu Cong is the most powerful. A person who doesn't care about fame and wealth, who just wanted to be with his Lu Jian Ning. Meanwhile, he slowly developes a friendship with Ren Yin Ying, the seemingly-cold daughter of leaders of the Evil Clan. Later on Guo Jing has caught up to him in martial art and also develop feelings for Lu Jian Ning. Because of saving someone he lost all his internal power. In the end he learned "Gudu Swordfight" and "Yijingjing".

THOUGHTS?:Wang Zi, Xiao Xun, Xiao Yu, Ah Ben, Xiao Man, Ah Wei, Ya Tou, and Xiao Ma stars in this drama. The storyline moves kind of slow but it'll start moving once you get the hang of it. Wang Zi and Xiao Xun's storyline is typically boring for me (saying that, im ready to be jumped by any wang zi/xiao xun fans out there. but beware, i have a duffel bag. and its not empty) . I thought Ah Ben && Xiao Man were the best couple followed by Ah Wei and Ya Tou. (don't you hate it when the people you want to be together barely interact in real life?) >.< ;; When Xiao Man got hurt after fighting with Ah Ben, his acting is really awesome during the hospital scene! .... psh.. back off, im having a fangirl moment.. :p

SPIDER LILIES - rated: 8/10
PLOT: Jade is a webcam girl, who broadcasts herself nightly on the internet to anonymous users. She seeks a tattoo, which leads her to the studio of tattoo artist Takeko, who also happens to be Jade's childhood crush. Jade becomes entranced by a large tattoo of golden flowers—spider lilies—on Takeko's arm. She wants the same design, but Takeko refuses, telling her that the flowers are cursed.

Takeko's father, who was killed in an earthquake, had the same tattoo on his arm. Her younger brother witnessed the incident and was traumatised by it, left with no memory except for the image of the flowers. Takeko decided to get the same tattoo, in the hope that it would help her brother's recovery.

Nevertheless, Takeko finds herself drawn to Jade, and begins designing a new tattoo for her.

THOUGHTS?: Rainie Yang && Isabella Leong stars in this movie. Its a little different from the rest. First, its a movie instead of a drama. 94 minutes. I think it's also unique from the storylines aswell. A little more meaning, less comedy. And unlike other movies of the kind, Spider lilies really focus on the storyline and relationship of responsibility and love than the type of relationship. Takeko is stronger and more quickly to hide her feelings while Jade is more sensitive to the situation. Although the ending was somewhat disappointing.. ;; In conclusion, this was really a great movie. I'd recommend(: -- "If I become fat, will my tattoo change shape? O_O" - haha..love that.

DEVIL BESIDE YOU - rate: 9/10
PLOT: After finally getting the courage to confess her feelings, Qi Yue (Rainie Yang) was handing her love letter to Yuan Yi (Kingone), but by a stroke of bad luck, he did not see and walked passed her. The person standing in front of her was the troublemaker of the school, infamously known for his devilish ways – Jiang Meng (Mike He). The devil will get what he wants, and the object of his desire was Qi Yue. Although having a cruel exterior, Ah Meng’s heart is kind and caring, which truly touched Qi Yue.

The big problem remained – Ah Meng [Ahmon] is the son of the man Qi Yue’s mother is going to marry. Even though they were not related by blood, who will accept this step brother-sister relationship? What is to become of their relationship when other lovers come into the picture?

THOUGHTS?: This drama was really a great comedy/romance to watch. Rainie does an amazing job with Qi Yue's character. So kawaii and sweet. Mike He also plays his part as Ahmon well. They really do make a great couple but I really liked Yuan Yi and Qi Yue together aswell. Every part of this drama is executed very well. I loved the parts where you could see Mike&&Rainie really having chemistry ( ahh.. im being mushy.. :] ) -- you could really learn about love && friendship from this movie. But I have to say, Ahrang is my favorite. I wish he could've had a relationship in the drama. My favorite part is the end when Que Yue does all these funny expressions at the beginning when she hated Ahmon and liked Yuan Yu. Anyway, if you enjoy comedy, romance, and maybe some basketball, you should really check it out.

TO-GET-HER [ SUPERSTAR EXPRESS ] - rate: 8/10
PLOT: Mars is a superstar whose popularity went downhill after a series of negative publicity. His finances went into red alert and he had to find a new place to live. He ended up renting a place from Mo Mo, his homebody landlord. He befriended her and her childhood friend Jia Sen, a swimming captain with the intelligence of an 8-year-old.

THOUGHTS?: Ah.. I don't really know what to say about this one. There were sweet moments, slow moments, comedy moments. I loved Mo Mo's obsession with Prince Kashaba and Mars' manager, Yi Zhi (?). Mars was really arrogant at first but he soon learns to accept that not being famous isn't so bad. Rainie Yang, Jiro Wang, and George Hu stars in this drama. George's character, Jia Sen was really annoying for me. But at the end he was really cute. I had nothing against his 'immature' state but the way he was acting really 'irked' :] me. Rainie Yang plays Mo Mo, which is a new character for her. She's not cheery and happy all the time. And she's not an optimistic, just alone and living life. Mo Mo's sister, Chu Chu, was really funny and spazzy to me. I loved the last part where Mars sang to Mo Mo on stage. Ha, and I can't tell you how many times I wanted to punch those 'mars-obsessed' girls in their school. Alot. I cried when Mars' mom was leaving and he had all those flashbacks and started crying. Not so much when she died though [oops..spoiler]; Amazing drama, you should watch it. Oh, and the theme/subtheme songs are amazing also!

ABSOLUTE BOYFRIEND - rate: 10/10
PLOT: Robot maker, Kronos Heaven, finally develops "Night Tenjo", the perfect male humanoid programmed to be devoted and completely loyal to his lover. The company chooses temp worker Izawa Riko to take part in a 5-day free trial. At first, Riko only sees Night as a household appliance. But when she finds out how deep Night's devotion to herself is, Riko finds herself falling in love with him. Joining the love triangle is Asamoto Soshi, a distinguished young executive at her company who has feelings for her.

THOUGHTS?: Who needs boyfriends? I'll wrap myself a robot and take him home(: ;; Haha, this drama is in Japanese which is different from the others. This is just the perfect drama. Let me tell you, there were tear-pools in this one. Not a puddle, a pool. Night was really sweet and funny. He's the perfect robot buddy ever! I need my very own Night, thatd be awesome. So no matter what people say, robots can have feelings; Plus, theres food involved, who doesn't love that? At the end, it was tear jerking. You can't help but cry. And when you think its all over and you've already put down your little hankie, they hit you with the special! Night comes back! and then before you even get a chance to cheer and cheer again, he's gone [ oops.. more spoilers ];; Its a roller coaster ride of missing robots... ;; i want to fall in love with a robot,too. haha, definately something I can tell my grandkids about.
