>> california is for lovers <<

Hi; well, school seems to be getting closer. And since there isnt a legal way to just make it stop coming, I guess we all have to deal with it. Personally, I think school has this hate/love thing going on. Somedays you want to go, other days you don't. Unfortunately, school comes whether you like it or not.

Dianna is kind of in the concept of denial. She goes through it every year. If you mention the word school, she automatically gives you that look and well, you dont want to get the look.

Hmm, this week we're going to Daddy's office to help him out while he's in Boston. I never quite figured out where that is, but its gotta come to me sometime. Eye doctor this week, also.

Ah.. Bandslam is coming out soon and I really want to watch it. And not only because it has to do with music...

>> romance in a slowdance <<

Mmm. I'm feeling hungry just looking at ramen noodles. Its one of my favorite foods and you know, if I had the choice of three things on a deserted island, id pick ramen noodles, a microwave, and a laptop with internet. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a smooth decision. Haha, well maybe not, but still, pretty thorough.

So Steph, Dianna, Francis and I are working doing covers and its pretty cool since we're figuring out what to do and how to do it. I really dont know how medleys work but I'm just winging it (yes i said 'winging')

Bethany Joy Fan is really kind of confusing me. I'm not sure where that project is going at the moment. Its like I want to keep working on it, but then I just want to get it over with. Not really sure.

I'm also having this mini-obsession with The Bigger Lights because of the whole Topher meeting. And the song Romance In A SlowDance is really amazing and Im having it on repeat... good song..

Starting school on August 10th so theres another chapter of excitement waiting to happen. This calls for school supplies!! Very, very interesting.

Well, life goes on and right now.. nothing new.. so good tidings ?

>> magic happens at the masquerade <<

The concert was yesterday and I probably cant tell you the whole thing in one update so click the link below if you want to read the full thing. So, The Bigger Lights was first. I didnt know who they were before the concert but they're really amazing live. Steph&&I got to meet Topher Talley, the lead singer and he was sweet and his signature was amazing. He focuses on every one.

We also got to meet Andrew, Chris, and Mike from The Friday Night Boys. Andrew and Chris hugged us and they were really sweet and caring the whole time. And after a while we managed to meet everyone from Stereo Skyline. Even though theres 3(maybe..4) people in the band, it took quite a while to meet them all. We got Kevin [KBAR!] first. Then an amazing guy that I currently do not know the name of (we got his signature but I cant figure it out..) - but he did awesome onstage so... he was good. Third, we got Rob's. We kept seeing him everywhere. I mean, like.. every ten minutes, he'd be walking around somewhere.

Now, Bryan was probably the hardest. We tried looking for him the whole time. No luck. But about 10 minutes before it was over, we finally found him.

So you could say this was an amazing experience..and thanks for reading.

>> should've held my ground <<

So you can blame me for not writing for a while. Or a bit more than a while. Anyway, life's gone okay since last time. We went to Biloxi, Mississippi and lets just say we faced not so nice bouncers, expensive hotels, smoking casino players, and critiquing buffets. I guess you could call it an adventure. We stayed at the Grand Casino but we spent more time at this other hotel I can never remember the name of.

Its quite interesting really, because I loved being in the casino area. Now dont get me wrong, I'm not a gambler. (... something about 15 year olds not being able to.. justkidding.) Its the lights, the music and so many people in one spot. That just seems really interesting. I wish I could just sit somewhere and observe everyone gambling or sitting around the casino, just to see if I can tell their story.

So the Hey Monday, Friday Night Boys, This Providence, Stereo Skyline, and The Bigger Lights concert is on Thursday and I'm pretty much the definition of excited. Im having second thoughts on making posters or not making posters because Steph and I dont want to be standing there with posters when everyone else doesnt have any.

Now, I'm all for "standing out" and "being different" but this is one thing I dont want to be the loner for..

>> feeling independent, arent we? <<

First off, happy independence day! I just figured out mail doesnt come on July 4th. Saturdays are just a bit more exciting than other weekdays, dontcha think? Also, ive never really figured out if Friday is considered a weekend or not.

All Time Low's new album comes out Tuesday, which makes me super excited since I pre-ordered it a while ago. One of Dianna's "sorry i didnt get you a birthday present, so pick something out" present.

So me, Steph, and Dianna are working to be extras for a new show called Drop Dead Diva. Oh and I bought the tickets to the concert! yesterday.

I've been watching Ace of Cakes quite a bit these days and I think I found myself getting fond of the Food Network night-time... hmm.. is that weird?
